One of the biggest secrets is to consider the height of the setting of the center gemstone as we shall see below.
Large Fingers & Hands
If you have larger fingers avoid narrow bands as this can emphasize the thickness of the finger. If you have a higher budget, go for a larger center stone and a medium thickness band like our Kay collection. On the other hand, focus on the band on either side of the center stone, the band should be thicker and more detailed and intricate. Boney Fingers
We recommend a three stone engagement ring for larger knuckles and boney fingers. A multiple stone engagement ring will balance out the finger and draw attention towards the ring. Fancy diamond shapes are an eye-catching design with 2 similar shape diamonds on either side of a different shape center diamond, an illusion will be created. We prefer to avoid setting the gemstone too high and the side stone should gradually rise up to compliment the center gemstone. We advise avoiding engagement rings with a thin band as this can accentuate the knuckles. Long Fingers
Almost all engagement rings will look good on long fingers, however settings where the diamonds are set higher will look better on long fingers as the ring will look more proportionate to the hand. Petite Fingers & Hands
